Operations Manager

RRD GO CREATIVE seeking an Operations Manager – Creative/Digital/Production Operations for our Chennai team. This role is critical in enabling our creative and digital delivery teams to focus on high-quality project execution while ensuring operational excellence, process consistency, and financial accuracy.In this role you will be responsible for:Creative & Digital Operations ManagementEvaluate and oversee multiple teams delivering creative and digital projects, ensuring high-quality outputs and on-time delivery.Build and manage systems for gathering, analyzing, and standardizing data across teams, ensuring accuracy and consistency.Develop and implement a Creative Metrics System to measure productivity, quality, turnaround, and client satisfaction.Process Management & SupportEnable streamlined operations so that creative and tech leads can focus on project delivery rather than operational issues.Establish consistent, standardized data-gathering processes across teams to improve efficiency and reduce duplication.Identify gaps and bottlenecks in workflows, and design solutions to improve overall delivery performance.Collaboration & Stakeholder ManagementPartner with creative leads, tech leads, program managers, and project managers to provide a seamless client experience.Build consensus among stakeholders to implement standardized processes across varied creative and digital functions.Collaborate with Finance and Billing teams to ensure accuracy of data, budgets, and client invoicing.Work with IT and HR teams to proactively resolve bottlenecks related to infrastructure, recruitment, and resource allocation.Performance Monitoring & Financial OversightMonitor operational performance using clearly defined metrics, and implement corrective action where needed.Take ownership of P&L-related activities, including tracking expenditures, analyzing variances, and recommending improvements.Prepare forecasts and operational reports to support leadership decision-making.Continuous ImprovementEncourage innovation in creative and digital operations, optimizing processes while maintaining quality.Identify and adopt new tools and technologies that enhance operational effectiveness.Drive initiatives to strengthen efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and scalability of operations.Key skills or requirements for the roleEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).Experience: 10+ years in operations management, with proven experience supporting creative, digital, or production teams.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to design data-driven solutions.Experience managing P&L and financial reporting.Expertise in developing operational processes, metrics systems, and governance frameworks.Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to build consensus across cross-functional teams.Demonstrated capability to manage multiple teams and accounts with high operational complexity.High emotional intelligence, commercial awareness, and a consultative approach.About us: RRD GO Creative™, with more than three decades of expertise in business communications, marketing solutions, and digital productivity solutions, we successfully help reimagine customer experiences for companies.
