We work with different stakeholders of the scientific landscape to visualize and disseminate their work. Through our content writing and design services, we convert complex scientific ideas into engaging content and visuals tailored to different audiences. Our marketing team creates tailored promotion and distribution strategies to help researchers and organizations create a media presence and promote their work. This entails everything from distribution of news stories on newswire platforms and social media marketing campaigns to managing pay-per-click ad campaigns, lead generation campaigns, etc.Our accounts are clustered around 3 key geographies:Eastern & Emerging markets: researchers, institutions, organizations, and journals from Japan, Korea, China, Singapore, Indonesia, Brazil, Saudi Arabia, etc.Western markets: researchers, academic journals, publishers, and societies dotted across Europe and North America.India market: researchers, government agencies, organization, think tanks, and institutions across India.Please Note- This is a contractual opportunity for a period of 1 year. Job ResponsibilitiesDevelop marketing strategies aligned to client objectives and budgets, with a focus on news media and social media solutions; create proposals and media plans.Execute PR and media distribution campaigns, including press release dissemination via newswires and earned media pitching; manage Digital PR, SEO, and Online Reputation Management.Plan and run organic and paid digital campaigns across LinkedIn, X, Meta platforms, YouTube, and Google Ads, ensuring timely and error-free execution.Track, manage, and report campaign performance, including media coverage reports and digital impact reports (reach, engagement, impressions, clicks, follower growth).Oversee budget management, including coordination with PoCs, monitoring spends, and maintaining accurate records across campaigns and accounts.Act as a key point of contact for marketing-related queries, providing strategic inputs, scoping projects, managing timelines, liaising with international partners, and handling special projects (e.g., lead generation, regional PPC, email campaigns) in collaboration with external agencies.RequirementsDigital & news media marketing expertise with a strong understanding of social media marketing, SEO, SEM, email marketing, ORM, and performance metrics; experience in academia-focused digital promotion and knowledge of Public Relations is a plus.Hands-on experience with platforms and tools such as EurekAlert, PR Newswire, EIN Presswire, LinkedIn, X, Meta platforms, YouTube, Spotify, and tools like Semrush, Meltwater, Muckrack, Hootsuite, Google Analytics, or similar.Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently, manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and coordinate across stakeholders.Excellent communication skills, including liaising with journalists, vendors, PR partners, and other external stakeholders.Customer-centric mindset with the ability to think from the client’s perspective when delivering solutions, ensuring quality and impact.Eligibility & mindset: Graduate degree in Marketing/Advertising (scientific background preferred), 2+ years of relevant digital marketing experience with campaign execution and reporting exposure; open to learning, adaptable, and supported by structured onboarding and training.
