Job Description – Legal Operations AssistantCastellan Real Estate Partners - India (Remote)Job Title: Legal Operations AssistantLocation: Remote (India)Work Hours: 4:00 PM – 1:00 AM ISTAbout the Role:We are seeking a detail-oriented Legal Operations Assistant to provide administrative and operational support to our legal team. The role focuses on document management, tracking, coordination and follow-ups for US real estate and compliance related matters, primarily involving California and New York.This position is ideal for candidates who are comfortable providing legal support to lawyers in a corporate setup through structured administrative work and coordination in a remote environment.Key Responsibilities:· Organize, maintain and update legal documents, contracts, regulatory developments, legal updates and reference materials.· Maintain trackers for litigation management, compliance tasks and ongoing projects.· Follow up with internal teams for documents, information, and status updates.· Support pre-litigation processes by compiling and organizing documentation for internal review.· Ensure legal records are accurate, current and easily retrievable.· Provide general administrative support to the legal team.Qualifications & Skills:· Bachelor’s degree in any related discipline. Please note that candidates with a law degree are welcome but the role is administrative in nature and does not require enrolment with the bar.· One - Three years of experience in a legal support or legal operations role.· Comfortable working with MS Word, Adobe, Dropbox, and .· Strong attention to detail, highly organized and ability to manage critical administrative tasks.· Ability and willingness to work during US business hours and manage multiple follow-ups.Preferred (Not Mandatory):· Experience supporting US-based real estate teams or property management companies.· Prior exposure to US-based legal teams.
