Job Title: Solar EngineerLocation: TrichySalary: ₹25,000 – ₹35,000 per monthExperience: Minimum 3 YearsRole OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and motivated Solar Engineer to lead sales, installation, and commissioning of solar power systems in Trichy. The candidate will play a key role in building a strong team locally while ensuring efficient and high-quality project execution. This role requires technical expertise in solar systems, leadership skills, and the ability to coordinate with customers, suppliers, and government authorities.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the design, installation, and commissioning of solar power systems (On-grid, Hybrid, and Off-grid).Handle site assessments, load calculations, and technical feasibility analysis for solar projects.Prepare project proposals, technical drawings, and BOQs in coordination with sales and management teams.Coordinate with TNEB for solar net-metering applications and related approvals.Supervise installation teams, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and provide training when required.Manage after-sales service, maintenance schedules, and troubleshooting of installed systems.Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely procurement of materials.Monitor project budgets, timelines, and customer satisfaction.Build, train, and manage a local team to expand solar operations in Trichy.Prepare technical reports, presentations, and progress updates for management.Required QualificationsMandatoryBE/Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.3–4 years of hands-on experience in residential solar projects.Based in Trichy.Proficiency in Tamil and English (written & spoken).DesiredStrong knowledge of On-grid, Hybrid, and Off-grid solar power systems.Experience in TNEB processes for solar installation and approval.Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for documentation and reporting.Excellent leadership, communication, and team-building skills.Skills RequiredTechnical expertise in solar PV system design and installation.Familiarity with electrical schematics, wiring, and safety protocols.Ability to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Customer-focused mindset with strong sales and negotiation abilities.Willingness to travel locally for project supervision.
