Loan Servicer

Job Title: Loan Servicer Industry: Real Estate Employment Type: Full-Time Work Hours: Eastern Standard Time (5.30 p.m. to 2.30 a.m. IST) Position Overview We are looking for a detail-oriented and customer-focused Loan Servicer to manage a portfolio of commercial loans. This role involves handling loan servicing operations, ensuring timely payments, maintaining accurate records, and delivering excellent support to borrowers. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of loan servicing processes, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities - Manage and service a portfolio of commercial loans - Process loan payments, including posting transactions and reconciling accounts - Maintain accurate loan records, including borrower details, payment history, and loan status updates - Track property & liability insurance expiration dates; send reminders and follow up with borrowers - Monitor property tax and utility due dates; process payments from escrow accounts - Manage and track escrow accounts effectively - Identify and monitor delinquencies; proactively follow up with borrowers to resolve payment issues - Respond to borrower inquiries related to loan details, payment history, escrow, and modifications - Review and analyze loan documents (promissory notes, mortgage agreements, deeds of trust) for accuracy and compliance - Coordinate with internal teams (origination, underwriting, collections) to resolve servicing issues - Support audits and compliance reviews, ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements - Generate loan statements, payoff quotes, and borrower communications - Assist with process improvements and other loan servicing initiatives Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred) - 2–5 years of experience in loan servicing, mortgage servicing, or related roles - Strong understanding of loan servicing processes, including payment processing, escrow management, and delinquency handling - Excellent analytical skills and high attention to detail - Proficiency in loan servicing software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment - Knowledge of loan servicing regulations and compliance requirements - High level of professionalism, integrity, and reliability Additional Requirements - Willingness to work in night shifts (EST time zone) - Strong customer service mindset with the ability to build positive relationships
