Our Vision - To be the most respected and trusted healthcare provider Our Mission - To make great healthcare affordable Values - CHEERS Job Description: To manage procurement activities efficiently by identifying reliable vendors, negotiating cost-effective purchases, ensuring timely availability of raw materials, consumables, and services required for smooth manufacturing operations, while maintaining quality and compliance standards. Key Responsibilities: Procurement & Sourcing Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers/vendors for raw materials, machinery spares, consumables, and services. Obtain quotations, compare price, quality, and delivery terms, and finalize purchase orders. Develop alternate sourcing strategies to ensure uninterrupted supply. Vendor Management Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers. Conduct vendor performance evaluation based on quality, cost, and delivery timelines. Negotiate contracts, terms, and payment conditions. Purchase Operations Issue Purchase Orders (POs) in line with company policies and approvals. Ensure timely procurement of materials as per production schedule. Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the stores/warehouse for replenishment. Cost Optimization Implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality. Benchmark prices and identify opportunities for bulk/long-term contracts. Compliance & Documentation Maintain accurate procurement records (POs, invoices, GRNs, contracts). Ensure compliance with company policies, statutory regulations, and audit requirements. Coordinate with finance for vendor payments and reconciliations. Cross-functional Coordination Work closely with production, quality, accounts, and logistics teams to ensure smooth supply chain operations. Resolve material-related issues with suppliers and internal departments. Key Skills & Competencies: Strong negotiation and communication skills. Knowledge of procurement processes, inventory management, and supply chain operations. Familiarity with ERP systems / MS Office. Analytical and problem-solving ability. Vendor relationship management. Cost-conscious with attention to detail. Qualification & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Supply Chain / Engineering / Management. 2–5 years of experience in procurement/purchase in a manufacturing/industrial setup. Knowledge of local and international sourcing preferred.
