Senior Consultant – PLM Administration & Integration

Job DescriptionJob Title: Windchill Solution Architect / ConsultantLocation: RemoteEmployment Type: FreelancingExperience: 5+ yearsAbout the RoleWe are looking for an experienced Windchill Solution Architect / Consultant to lead solution design, infrastructure planning, and system administration for large-scale PLM environments. This role will ensure smooth operations, optimize performance, and drive automation for Windchill applications in an enterprise setup.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and maintain Windchill infrastructure landscapes and address non-functional requirements.Manage system administration including storage (NetApp), clusters, load balancers (F5), global replicas, and backups.Oversee OOTB installations, configurations, code deployments, and patch management.Lead Windchill business administration: ACLs, indexing, access rights, preferences, and automation workflows.Provide 3rd-level support for system issues and integrations; set up new interfaces.Manage Azure Cloud hosting, Ansible automation, Jenkins, SonarQube, JFrog Artifactory, and custom deployment frameworks.Perform load and API testing using JMeter and other tools.Ensure system security, performance monitoring, and process automation.Requirements: Proven experience in Windchill solution architecture and administration.Expertise in PLM infrastructure, storage systems, and automation tools.Hands-on with CI/CD (Jenkins, SonarQube, JFrog), Azure Cloud, and scripting (Python/YAML).Strong problem-solving, performance tuning, and stakeholder management skills.Knowledge of security best practices in PLM environments.Preferred:PTC Windchill certifications.Experience with large enterprise PLM deployments.
