Teamcenter Migration Lead/Developer

Responsibilities: Lead and manage comprehensive Teamcenter data migration initiatives across various versions and platforms. Assess legacy systems and formulate effective migration strategies that maintain data integrity, optimize performance, and ensure seamless business continuity. Design and implement robust ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) workflows for efficient data migration. Manage large-scale datasets, including data mapping, validation, cleansing, and reconciliation processes. Work collaboratively with functional consultants, solution architects, and key business stakeholders to gather and interpret migration requirements. Leverage tools such as PLMXML, TCXML, ITK, SOA, and scripting languages like Java and Python to automate and streamline migration activities. Perform thorough pre- and post-migration testing, handle error resolution, and implement performance tuning measures. Create and maintain detailed documentation covering migration methodologies, best practices, and technical solutions.Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Over 3+ years of hands-on experience in Teamcenter PLM data migration projects. Strong expertise in: • Teamcenter Unified Architecture (UA) • PLMXML and TCXML formats • ITK, SOA, Java, and/or Python scripting for migration automation • Data validation, cleansing, and reconciliation techniques Proven ability to execute complex, high-volume Teamcenter migrations successfully. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills. Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and deliver results within tight deadlines.
