Not even close.Role: Prompt EngineerLocation: RemoteRole Overview:We are hiring a Prompt Engineer to design, test, and optimize the prompt systems that power Joveo's LLM-driven features. You will be the expert at the boundary of language model behavior and product output — crafting prompt architectures that are reliable, efficient, and production-safe at scale.Key Responsibilities:- Design and iterate on system prompts, few-shot examples, and chain-of-thought frameworks- Build prompt evaluation pipelines to measure output quality, consistency, and safety- Document and version prompt libraries across Joveo's AI-powered features- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and data scientists on LLM feature development- Research and apply emerging prompt engineering techniques (CoT, ReAct, DSPy)- Identify and mitigate prompt injection risks and output instability issuesRequired Skills & Qualifications:- Deep practical experience with LLM prompt design across multiple model families- Familiarity with OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, or open-source model APIs- Ability to write and evaluate structured outputs, function calls, and tool-use prompts- Experience with prompt evaluation frameworks and qualitative output benchmarking- Strong analytical thinking — ability to diagnose why a model produces a specific output- Background in linguistics, cognitive science, or technical writing is an advantageEqual Opportunity Employer:Joveo is an equal opportunity employer.
