Main ResponsibilitiesWindows Server Environment: O/S support Windows Server 2016, 2019 and 2022Configure/maintain Active Directory Domain Services and Group policy management.Configure/maintain DNS, DHCP, File Server, Web Server (IIS), and Network Policy Server (NPS) rolesConfigure/maintain Windows Server Update Services (WSUS).Configure/maintain SQL Server installations along with scheduled backup, mirroring, and log shipping. Perform operating system state backups as well as user/application data online/offline/cloud backups. Perform security updates and Operating System hardening activities. Knowledge in cloud based antivirus management.Tool based Performance monitoring. (PRTG)General Responsibilities:Maintain a definitive library for OS, Applications, product guides, device firmware, etc.Maintain and update configuration documents Maintain assets and software license/subscriptionsVendor coordination and supportMaintain SLAs and do timely escalations. Report all incident/service/change requests in the helpdesk tool. Provide after-hour support in case of emergencies and occasional weekend maintenanceSkills:Excellent troubleshooting skillsProven experience as Server Admin or similar roleExceptional organizing and time-management skillsVery good communication abilitiesWindows Server 2016/2019/2022 operating system management skillsBasic Understanding of cloud platforms
