Title: Associate- Presales Job Location: - Bengaluru Job Description The Presales Consultant at MetricStream promotes GRC solutions by leveraging functional knowledge and translating solutions into business benefits. They provide functional/technical consulting, support sales activities, and deliver high-quality responses to PQQs, RFIs, and RFPs. Additionally, they establish customer relationships and play active roles in pre-sale and post-sale engagements, with domain knowledge in industries like Manufacturing, BFSI, Healthcare, Retail, and CPG being advantageous. Key Responsibilities Solution Consulting: Collaborate closely with Sales, Account teams, and Partners to define, articulate, and deliver robust GRC solutions tailored to client needs. Opportunity Management: Manage end-to-end sales opportunities—including qualification, bid responsibility matrix, proposal creation, presentations, and post-bid clarifications. Sales Lifecycle Engagement: Actively participate in all stages of the sales cycle—from discovery calls and pre-bid demonstrations to negotiations and closure. Needs Assessment: Engage with prospects to understand and document their current challenges and define solution scope. Mapping & Advising: Utilize industry knowledge to map MetricStream GRC solutions to customer business problems and demonstrate solution value. Trusted Advisor: Establish credibility with customer decision-makers, advising on technology, architecture, and integrated offerings. KPIs & Reporting: Ensure accurate administration and reporting of sales KPIs, forecasts, and plans. Collaterals & Knowledge Sharing: Develop and contribute to sales and marketing collateral, case studies, presentations, and knowledge management assets. Performance Ratios: Drive high conversion ratios and maintain process efficiency and effectiveness. Skills and Experience Experience: 2-4 years overall experience, with at least 1-3 years in Presales, Solutions Consulting, or related IT Products/Services roles. Client Engagement: Demonstrated client interface, consulting, and stakeholder management skills. Solution Orientation: Proficiency in understanding and positioning the right products/apps/solutions to address customer business challenges. Influence & Credibility: Highly credible, with the ability to effectively influence internal teams and external clients. Drive: Determined, results-oriented, and enthusiastic in driving opportunities to successful closure. Analytical & Interpersonal Skills: Strong business acumen, planning, analytical, and interpersonal skills. Communication: Excellent spoken and written English. Quality & Attention to Detail: High sense of ownership, accountability, and attention to detail. Agility: Ability to deliver high-quality outputs within tight timeframes. Collaboration: Experience working in complex, matrixed environments requiring cross-functional coordination with senior stakeholders. Leadership: Experience in leading, mentoring, or managing others within a team environment is a plus.
