Job SummaryHCT Group is looking for an experiencedSenior Manual Testerto join its quality assurance team. The role involves planning, designing, and executing test cases to ensure software, platforms, and systems meet the required standards of performance and reliability. The Senior Manual Tester will work closely with development, product, and operations teams to identify defects, track issues, and ensure timely resolution. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a solid background in testing enterprise applications. This position requires experience in creating test plans, executing functional and regression testing, and documenting outcomes. Primary ResponsibilitiesDesign, document, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts. Conduct functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT). Identify, document, and track software defects with clear reporting. Collaborate with developers and product managers to validate bug fixes and enhancements. Ensure test coverage aligns with business and technical requirements. Analyze test results, provide feedback, and recommend improvements. Participate in sprint planning and agile ceremonies for test readiness. Prepare and maintain testing documentation and reports for stakeholders. Mentor junior testers and support the QA team in achieving best practices. Primary SkillsStrong knowledge of manual testing methodologies and defect management tools. Proficiency in writing test cases, bug reports, and test documentation. Familiarity with Jira, TestRail, or similar test management tools. Understanding of SDLC, STLC, and agile methodologies. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Attention to detail with the ability to handle complex systems testing. QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Relevant certification (e.g., ISTQB) preferred. Experience4–7 years of hands-on experience in manual testing, preferably in telecom or enterprise applications. Experience in telecom software or network management systems is a strong plus.
