Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:Import Update the list and follow up ETA shipment timely based on notification from ICC/Procurement Weekly update Import Shipment details to ICC and Internal Team. Contact shipping liner to receive arrival notice and further coordinate with CHA Work and negotiate with shipping liner/ seller/ broker to check free times. Coordinate with the Accounting team to collect all import docs for CHA Follow up with CHA to intimate if these documents need to be filed under Advance Licences or Duty Paid or LDC and communicate with the finance team for arrangements. Follow up with CHA for Container movements for imports clearance, on receipt of Bill of Entry (BOE), and summit to finance team. Checking import docs which are received from ICC – invoice, packing list, contract, B/L, certificate(all) and handover all to customs clearance agent. These all need to be verified on draft copies by communicating with ICC/Procurement if needed as well as with the seller. Notify on all arrival of Import Clearance/schedule to Internal team (Warehouse, Quality, MIS, Factory, Finance, Procurement, and Management) Coordinate with Warehouse/Factory Manager to arrange transportation to deliver containers as fast as possible and avoid demurrage charge (DEM) also avoid any other additional charges. Inform/follow up with factories/warehouse, inspection agent, and seller for survey/unloaded arrangements. Coordinate to arrange a cutting test and Verify, Collect the certificate in a timely and update to ICC/procurement also the Internal team. Follow up with Inspection Party, Seller & Jointly with Quality Team for Cutting Test Check and hand over all import docs to the Accounting team. Coordinate with finance team for credit/debit invoice and measures Work with shipping line to receive a Tax invoice and container deposit refund, upon its application.Exports Coordinate with Production/Operation team for Shipment progress and status in following for Shipment movement in a sequence of Shipment planning as well Stock Report from factories. Coordinate with CHA to obtain export containers of good quality within the time. Follow up - for empty container movement to factory, Stuffing, port, sailing along with details. Arrange shipment schedule based on coordination with supply chain team and factories and update to factories, director, and ICC. Update Daily Shipment Status to Management and Follow weekly/monthly Shipment Submissions to ICC to make Unique alignment with ISP. Contact shipping line/ shipping agent for booking confirmation and arrange transportation. Work with factories /inspection agents/ transportation to arrange shipments on time. Email Final Shipment Advice details to the Supply chain team and ICC. Work with Director for final yield to register with customs based on the requirement. Prepare export docs (invoice, packing list, contract) and hand over export docs to customs clearance agent & factory. Work with shipping line / CHA to ensure the shipment as scheduled and vessel planning. Follow up with Freight Forwarder- Release status of Bill of Lading (B/L) relating to the container dispatched from factory and loaded on the ship at a port. Liaise with CHA, Inspection Party, and related authorities toward certificates and all required Export docs for its on-time submission. Coordinate instruction from ISP/Non-ISP for free days for a container at the destination. Collect, check all export docs (invoice, packing list, customs declaration) to handover to the Accounting team and filing Send B/L & Invoice copy to NIBC- for ensuring the release of Payment from Singapore Follow up with Buyer- for release of payment and funds transfer / SWIFT details Follow up with our Bank- to confirm receipt of fundsSupply Chain / Logistic – Domestic RelatedArrange vehicle for transport of RCN, Cashew Kernels between Warehouses and factories in coordination with the contracted transporter and follow related company standards, if any, with appropriate intimation/approval from LMT. Liaise with factory managers to arrange RCN movement between warehouse to factories Initiate contract arrangements with all Supply chain service providers including CHA, Transporter, and Warehouse.Government Incentive Scheme- Export Promotions Scheme for Capital Goods (EPCG) Apply for EPCG License- for Import Clearance Follow up with DGFT for receiving the Export Promotions Scheme for Capital Goods (EPCG) Filing for EPCG Redemption- once export obligations are completed Update EPCG Register and send a weekly report on the status of uncleared EPCG licenses. Clear all pending EPCG licenses in coordination with consultant and DGFT.Government Incentive Scheme- RoDTEP Handling RoDTEP claims for export shipping bills and ensuring correct declaration during filing. Monitoring RoDTEP scroll generation and coordinating with customs for pending cases. Reconciling RoDTEP credits with export records and maintaining proper documentation. Preparing and submitting RoDTEP annual return with export and benefit details.Government Incentive Scheme- Advance Authorization Licenses for Imports Apply for Advance Authorization License- for Import Clearance Follow up with DGFT for receiving the Advance Authorization License Filing for Advance Authorization License Redemption- once export obligations are completed Update the Advance Authorization License Register. Coordinate with Finance department for redemption and renewal of bank guarantee for obtaining the licenses. Obtain the status holder certificate or star export house certificate. Other Responsibilities by coordinating with Finance Team Update Insurance register for Import RCN Transit policy & Filing Insurance claims, if any, and follow up for payment. Prepare the documents set for submission to Authorized Dealer Bank. Courier details to the buyer- Documents couriered by our Bank to Buyer BankProfile of the CandidateHard Skills:Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, or related field. 5 ~ 8 Years’ Experience in Import-Export/Logistics, supply chain, and related fields. Ability to manage logistics of all aspects of the supply chain, from product development to the shipment of finished items. Basic understanding of accounting or finance. Must be able to comprehend legal documents. Uncompromising compliance with company and regulatory requirements Strong communication skills and the desire to build lasting relationships with people all over the world.
