IMMEDIATE REQUIREMENT – MICROBIOLOGIST KODAND INTERNATIONALAuthorised Distributor for leading FMCG & Beverage Brands We are a well-established distribution company representing reputed brands such as HUL, ITC, Pepsi, Campa Cola, and more. Along with distribution across Tuticorin and surrounding districts, we also operate a state-of-the-art packaged drinking water plant (Parle's Bailley) at Kilavallanadu, Thoothukudi. We are urgently looking for an experienced Microbiologist to join our Water Plant Quality Control & Assurance Team. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring product quality, safety, and compliance with FSSAI and BIS standards. Requirements: B.Sc./M.Sc. in Microbiology / Biotechnology / Biochemistry (mandatory) 3–7 years of proven experience in microbiological testing for food/beverage/water industry Strong knowledge of IS 14543 Packaged Drinking Water Standards Hands-on experience in water quality testing (TPC, Coliform, Yeast & Mould, Pathogen Analysis, etc.) Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and ISO procedures Ability to prepare, maintain, and document laboratory records accurately Immediate joiners preferred Key Responsibilities: Conduct routine microbiological analysis of raw water, treated water, and finished products Perform environmental monitoring of production and storage areas Validate and maintain aseptic sampling/testing methods Ensure compliance with BIS, FSSAI, and other statutory norms Investigate quality deviations and recommend corrective actions Maintain laboratory instruments, consumables, and hygiene protocols Coordinate with Plant Manager and QA Head for quality assurance reports Work Location: KODAND Water Plant, Kilavallanadu, Thoothukudi (Tamil Nadu) Note: Immediate joiners only Salary negotiable for the right candidate Please forward your updated CV with profile picture to: Contact for More Details:HR: Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹20, ₹25,000.00 per month Benefits: Flexible schedule Provident Fund Work Location: In person
