Our team is expanding, and we are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer with expertise in designing and drafting complex electrical systems to join our Thiruvananthapuram office.Role Overview The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for designing and drafting electrical systems for high-rise residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects, ensuring compliance with industry codes, project specifications, and client requirements. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical skills with leadership capabilities, mentoring new hires, supporting pre-sales activities, and building a talent pool within the team.Key Responsibilities Electrical System Design & Drafting: Develop detailed designs and AutoCAD drawings for electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, security, and communication systems. MEP Coordination: Collaborate with mechanical and plumbing engineers for integrated MEP systems design and documentation. Project Execution: Ensure timely delivery of electrical design packages, BOQs, load calculations, and compliance with project requirements. Leadership & Mentorship: Guide junior engineers and drafters, provide training, and support team development. Client Engagement & Pre-Sales Support: Participate in client meetings, presentations, and technical discussions to support pre-sales and business development initiatives. Quality & Standards: Ensure all designs comply with national and international codes, safety standards, and energy efficiency guidelines. Required Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (Master’s degree preferred). Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in electrical system design and drafting for high-rise residential, commercial, or mixed-use projects. Proficiency in AutoCAD and exposure to other drafting/design software. Strong knowledge of MEP system design, drafting, and coordination . Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi (knowledge of additional regional languages will be a plus). Strong leadership qualities, team management skills, and ability to mentor new hires. Open to client-facing roles and supporting pre-sales activities. Based in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala and willing to work from office, Monday to Friday.
