Lead - Textile Fiber Sourcing

Duties and Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Sourcing & Supplier Management● Develop and execute global and regional sourcing strategies for recycled staplefibers.● Identify, evaluate, onboard, and develop suppliers of recycled fibers .● Negotiate contracts, pricing, volumes, and long-term supply agreements.● Build strong supplier relationships to ensure continuity, innovation, and scalability.Technical & Quality Expertise● Evaluate recycled staple fiber specifications including:○ Denier, cut length, crimp, tenacity, elongation, shrinkage, and cleanliness○ Consistency of fiber performance across lots● Understand mechanical and chemical recycling processes and their impact on fiberquality.● Collaborate with R&D, Quality, and Production teams to approve new materials andsuppliers.● Support troubleshooting related to fiber performance in spinning, nonwoven, ordownstream processes.Supply Chain & Operations● Manage supply planning to ensure on-time delivery and inventory optimization.● Monitor risks related to raw material availability, logistics, geopolitical factors, andcapacity constraints.● Coordinate with logistics partners on transportation, lead times, and cost efficiency.● Support demand forecasting and capacity planning for recycled fiber requirements.Sustainability & Compliance● Ensure sourcing aligns with sustainability goals and circular economy principles.● Manage certifications and compliance (e.g., GRS, OBP, ISO, Ockeo Texcustomer-specific requirements).● Support audits and customer sustainability assessments.Cost & Performance Management● Drive continuous cost improvement initiatives without compromising quality orsustainability.● Analyze market trends for recycled fibers, feedstock availability, and pricingdynamics.● Develop KPIs related to supplier performance, quality, cost, delivery, and ESGcompliance.Experience and QualificationsQualification: Graduate/Post GraduateExperience: 10+ years in in Plastics, Sustainability, Waste management, recycling or anyother related field.Note: The roles and responsibilities outlined above are not meant to be an exhaustive list oftasks.
