Position: Technical Content Writer Location: Thane (Work from Office) Shift Timings: 6:00 PM to 3:30 AM (Pick up & Drop Available) Experience: 6 Months to 2 Years Job Description: We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Technical Content Writer to join our team. They should have at least 6 months of experience supporting proposals for SLED (State, Local, and Education) and international public sector clients. Prior experience working on RFPs/RFQs/task orders from agencies such as FL DMS, TX DIR, Judicial Council of California (JCC), MD CATS+, MHBE, NY OGS, NYC DoITT, and the Canadian government is highly preferred. Key Responsibilities: Analyze RFPs, RFQs, and TORs for scope, compliance requirements, and evaluation criteria. Develop proposal outlines, compliance matrices, and schedules in collaboration with proposal managers. Coordinate with capture leads, SMEs, and delivery teams to collect technical and management inputs. Write, review, and format proposal sections such as technical approaches, past performance, staffing plans, and executive summaries. Ensure proposals align with client-specific submission requirements and compliance standards. Participate in internal reviews and incorporate feedback. Maintain and enhance a proposal content repository tailored to SLED/public sector pursuits. Manage multiple proposal submissions under tight deadlines. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Business, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Minimum 6 months of experience in proposal writing for public sector clients. Hands-on experience working on proposals for at least some of the following entities: FL DMS, TX DIR, JCC, MNSITE, MD CATS+, MHBE, NY OGS, NYC DoITT, Canadian government agencies. Understanding of SLED procurement processes and agency-specific submission standards. Strong writing, editing, and formatting skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and PDF editing tools. Preferred Skills: Familiarity with state procurement portals (e.g., eMaryland Marketplace, Ariba, BidNet, PassPort, Bonfire, PlanetBids). Experience using proposal automation or collaboration tools (e.g., Qvidian). Exposure to IT services, healthcare, education, or infrastructure-focused bids. Work Environment: On-site role based on business requirements. Fast-paced, deadline-oriented work setting. Flexibility to work extended hours during proposal submission deadlines.
