Role Context:As Plum continues to scale across marketplaces, this role plays a critical part in driving sustainable growth, visibility, and profitability on key platforms. The Key Account Manager will work at the intersection of revenue, execution, and partnerships, owning marketplace performance while collaborating closely with internal teams.Core MandateTo own and grow assigned marketplace accounts by driving topline growth, improving contribution margins, and ensuring best-in-class execution across visibility, availability, and consumer experience.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn business performance and P&L for assigned marketplacesDrive GMV growth through assortment planning, pricing, promotions, and visibility leversAct as the primary point of contact with the marketplace category and account managersPlan and execute monthly, quarterly, and event-led sales calendars (EOSS, BBD, GIF, Prime Day, etc.)Ensure strong hygiene across listings, content, ratings & reviews, and complianceWork with marketing teams on marketplace advertising (AMS / sponsored ads) and ROI trackingForecast demand and align with supply chain teams to ensure high fill rates and minimal stock ageingTrack and analyse performance metrics (sales, traffic, conversion, ROAS, contribution) and drive corrective actionsPartner with brand, finance, supply chain and operations teams on launches and ongoing initiatives.What Success Looks LikeConsistent growth in GMV, contribution margin, and visibility metricsStrong, productive relationships with marketplace partnersFlawless execution during BAU and high-pressure sale eventsData-driven decision-making and proactive problem-solvingHigh ownership and accountability for outcomesIdeal Candidate ProfileExperience3–6 years of experience in marketplace or e-commerce account managementHands-on experience with platforms such as Amazon, Flipkart, or Quick CommerceExperience in FMCG / Beauty / Consumer brands preferredSkills & MindsetStrong understanding of marketplace business models and commercial leversHigh execution rigour and attention to detailAnalytical mindset with comfort in data and dashboardsStrong stakeholder management and negotiation skillsOwnership mindset with a bias for action and continuous improvementWhy This Role at PlumThis role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-growing, purpose-led consumer brand, with direct ownership of business outcomes.
