The ideal candidate should have strong industry knowledge, established contacts within the Indian pharmaceutical sector, and a proven ability to drive sales growth.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute marketing and sales strategies for APIs and intermediates in the domestic market. Identify new business opportunities and expand customer base across India. Manage existing customer relationships and ensure high levels of satisfaction. Conduct regular market analysis and competitor tracking. Coordinate with production, QC, QA, and dispatch teams to ensure timely order execution. Participate in pricing discussions, negotiations, and tenders. Prepare sales forecasts, performance reports, and MIS updates. Represent the company at pharma exhibitions and networking events.Desired Candidate ProfileBachelor’s or Master’s degree inChemistry, Pharmacy, or Marketing . 5–7 years of experiencein marketing/sales of APIs or intermediates within the Indian pharmaceutical industry. Strong understanding ofAPI products, pharma manufacturing, and supply chain processes . Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
