Kanakia International School – BhayandarPosition: Computer Science Teacher (Grades 1–7)Role OverviewWe are seeking a passionate Computer Science Teacher for Grades 1 to 7 who can build strong foundational skills in computational thinking, logical reasoning, and problem-solving. This role goes beyond basic ICT and focuses on developing core computer science concepts aligned with the Cambridge Computing framework.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and deliver engaging Computer Science lessons for primary and lower secondary studentsDevelop and implement curriculum aligned with Cambridge Computing standardsFoster computational thinking, problem-solving, and logical reasoning skillsIntroduce age-appropriate programming concepts and digital creation skillsIntegrate Computer Science with other subjects, especially MathematicsCreate an inclusive, interactive, and student-centric classroom environmentAssess, track, and report student progress effectivelyCollaborate with colleagues and participate in school development initiatives and training programsQualifications & SkillsMaster’s degree in Computer Science, Education, or a related fieldStrong understanding of core Computer Science concepts (not limited to ICT/digital literacy)Experience in curriculum planning and lesson deliveryGood classroom management and communication skillsFamiliarity with Cambridge Computing framework is preferredPrior experience teaching primary and lower secondary grades is an advantage
