EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) Coordinator-Immediate Joiner

Job Title: EDI CoordinatorPosition SummaryThe EDI Coordinator is responsible for managing and supporting Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) transactions between internal ERP systems and external trading partners. This role ensures accurate, timely data flow by monitoring EDI transactions, troubleshooting errors, and directly correcting and maintaining data within the ERP system. The ideal candidate has strong ERP experience, excellent problem-solving skills, and a solid understanding of business processes such as order management, invoicing, and inventory.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor, manage, and support daily EDI transactions (e.g., 850, 855, 856, 810) to ensure successful data exchange with trading partnersInvestigate, troubleshoot, and resolve EDI errors, exceptions, and failed transactionsAnalyze EDI mapping and transaction errors and determine root causesCorrect, update, and maintain data directly within the ERP system (customers, items, pricing, orders, shipments, invoices, etc.)Coordinate with internal teams (IT, Customer Service, Supply Chain, Finance) to resolve data and process issuesValidate ERP data accuracy to prevent recurring EDI issuesIdentify opportunities to improve EDI and ERP data processes and reduce manual interventionRequired Qualifications2–5+ years of experience in an EDI Coordinator, EDI Analyst, or similar roleHands-on experience working with ERPStrong experience correcting and maintaining data directly within an ERP systemWorking knowledge of EDI standards (ANSI X12 and/or EDIFACT)Experience troubleshooting data-related issues across EDI and ERP systemsUnderstanding of order-to-cash and procure-to-pay business processesStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detailAbility to communicate technical issues clearly to both technical and non-technical usersKey Skills & CompetenciesERP data management and validationEDI transaction monitoring and troubleshootingCross-functional collaborationProcess improvement mindsetTime management and prioritization
