Head of Data & AI Advisory – APACLocation: India or Singapore; also open to other locations within APAC where we have officesThe OpportunityAre you a strategic consulting leader ready to build something meaningful?We’re seeking a Head of Data & AI Advisory (APAC) to launch and scale our advisory practice across the region. This newly created leadership role is ideal for a management consulting professional who thrives at the intersection of strategy, data, AI, and client value creation.You will define how enterprises across APAC adopt data‑driven and AI‑enabled strategies, working closely with Sales, Presales, and Delivery teams to shape high‑impact, advisory‑led solutions that deliver tangible business outcomes.You’ll have the opportunity to shape a regional advisory capability from the ground up, influence how organizations adopt AI responsibly and at scale, and work alongside passionate experts in a fast‑growing, global environment.What You’ll DoLead Strategic Client EngagementsPartner closely with Sales (account strategy) and Presales (technical validation) during the discovery and pursuit phases.Act as the Lead Architect for the advisory phase, defining high‑level Data & AI frameworks (e.g. Data Governance, MLOps, GenAI roadmaps).Serve as a trusted advisor to C‑suite and senior stakeholders, facilitating discovery workshops and AI/data maturity assessments.Build the Data & AI Advisory PracticeDefine the advisory methodologies, toolkits, and operating model for consistent delivery across APAC.Strengthen the organization’s “advisory muscle” by coaching delivery teams to engage clients strategically and uncover deeper business needs.Develop thought leadership assets (e.g. white papers, advisory blueprints) to support executive‑level conversations.Grow a High‑Impact TeamBuild and mentor a lean, high‑calibre advisory team as the practice scales.Provide strategic oversight on key engagements to ensure alignment between advisory vision and execution.What We Need to See From YouRight to Work: Existing full‑time work rights in India or Singapore or other locations within APAC where we have officesConsulting Background: Strong foundation in management, strategy, digital, or AI consulting, with experience in a top‑tier or specialist consulting firm.Data & AI Fluency: Solid understanding of modern data platforms and cloud‑based AI ecosystems (e.g. Snowflake, Databricks, Hyperscaler AI services).Executive Presence: Confidence advising senior leaders, balancing commercial outcomes with technical credibility.Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Proven ability to operate in matrixed environments alongside Sales, Presales, and Delivery teams.Regional Perspective: Experience working across APAC markets, with awareness of varying AI maturity levels and regulatory considerations.Why SoftwareOne?SoftwareOne and Crayon have come together to form a global, AI-powered software and cloud solutions provider with a bold vision for the future.
