Job Title: Cyber Security AnalystLocation: Remote (India)Position OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Cyber Security Analyst to help protect organizational systems, networks, and data from security threats. In this role, you will monitor security events, analyze risks, respond to incidents, and support the implementation of security controls. You will work closely with IT and engineering teams to strengthen the organization’s overall security posture in a fully remote environment.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor security systems and analyze alerts to identify potential threats and vulnerabilitiesInvestigate security incidents and support incident response and remediation activitiesConduct vulnerability assessments and assist with risk analysisImplement and maintain security controls, policies, and proceduresCollaborate with IT and engineering teams to improve system and network securitySupport compliance with security standards, regulations, and internal policiesMaintain documentation related to security incidents, controls, and processesStay informed about emerging security threats, trends, and best practicesRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent experienceProven experience in cybersecurity, information security, or a related roleStrong understanding of security concepts such as network security, access control, and encryptionExperience with security monitoring tools, SIEM platforms, and incident response processesFamiliarity with operating systems, networking fundamentals, and cloud environmentsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote settingPreferred QualificationsExperience with vulnerability management tools and penetration testing conceptsFamiliarity with security frameworks and standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST)Relevant security certifications (e.g., CEH, Security+, CISSP – or working toward certification)Experience securing cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
