The consultant will be responsible for providing comprehensive cardiac care, performing interventional procedures, managing emergency cardiac cases, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centric treatment.Key Roles & ResponsibilitiesClinical ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and manage patients with acute and chronic cardiovascular diseasesEvaluate patients presenting with chest pain, coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, and valvular heart diseasesConduct OPD consultations and daily inpatient ward roundsInterpret ECGs, ECHO, TMT, Holter, CT angiography, and other cardiac investigationsInterventional CardiologyPerform diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures including:Coronary angiographyPTCA / PCI (angioplasty and stenting)Primary angioplasty for acute myocardial infarctionTemporary and permanent pacemaker implantationManage post-procedure care and monitor patient recoveryHandle cardiac emergencies including acute coronary syndromes and cardiogenic shockICU & Emergency CareProvide cardiac care support in ICU and emergency settingsCoordinate with intensivists, emergency physicians, and nursing staff for critical patientsParticipate in code blue and emergency cardiac interventionsAdministrative & Team CoordinationMaintain accurate medical records and procedure documentationEnsure adherence to hospital protocols, ethical standards, and patient safety guidelinesGuide and mentor junior doctors and clinical staff when requiredParticipate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and CME activitiesEligibility & QualificationsDM / DNB – Interventional Cardiology (mandatory)Registration with State Medical Council / NMCProven experience in interventional cardiology proceduresStrong clinical judgment, decision-making, and communication skillsKey Skills & CompetenciesExpertise in invasive and non-invasive cardiologyAbility to manage high-pressure emergency situationsPatient-focused and ethical approach to careStrong teamwork and leadership qualitiesCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive remuneration (as per experience and expertise)Supportive work environment with modern cath lab facilitiesOpportunity for professional growth and long-term associationHow to ApplyInterested candidates may share their updated CV with details of qualifications and experience at: zestrecruitment.consultancy@
