Job Summary:We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Electrical Engineer with 15+ years of expertise in designing and delivering large-scale data centre projects. The ideal candidate will have end-to-end project experience—from concept to commissioning—and strong knowledge of electrical systems including EHV (66kV & above), HV, MV, and LV power distribution for high-capacity data centres. In this role, you will lead the design and execution of mission-critical electrical infrastructure, ensuring compliance with Indian and international regulations. Strong expertise in EHV You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, manage project delivery, and provide technical leadership while driving high-performance, reliable, and scalable power solutions for data centres.Responsibilities:As a Lead Engineer, you will play a key role in shaping next generation digital infrastructure. collaborating with multidisciplinary teams globally.Lead the electrical design, engineering, and execution of large-scale data centre projects in India & globally.Manage end-to-end project lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery within budget and compliance with technical specifications.Develop electrical system concepts, schematics, and detailed designs aligned with both Indian and international standards.Collaborate with other disciplines to integrate electrical systems seamlessly.Design power distribution systems (EHV/HV/MV/LV), ensuring redundancy and high availability.Develop SLD, equipment layout, grounding, lightning protection, and earthing systems.Conduct load flow, short circuit, harmonics, and arc flash studies using ETAP, Amtech, or similar tools.Ensure fault level coordination, generator synchronization, UPS system design, and active/passive power backup planning.Review and approve BOD (Basis of Design), power distribution strategies, and electrical load lists.Provide cost estimation, procurement specifications, and vendor technical evaluations.Ensure designs comply with Indian codes and international codes.Ensure fire & life safety compliance as per local and global best practices.Review vendor drawings and validate equipment suitability for Indian & international projects.Engage with clients, consultants, and project teams to align project goals.Represent in technical meetings, workshops, and business development discussions.Guide and mentor junior engineers & designers, fostering skill development.Support resource planning and allocation for India-based and global projects.Technical Skills:Required (Mandatory)Power Distribution (Expertise in EHV, HV, MV and LV)Proficiency in ETAP/AmtechProficiency in AutoCAD3D tools - Revit MEP, Navisworks, ACCPower Backup- Strong understanding of UPS, DG synchronization, energy storage and power back-up strategiesDesired (Good to have)Scada -Knowledge (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition)BMS- Knowledge (Building Management System)EMS- Knowledge (Energy Management System)
