The Company has a manufacturing footprint of more than 1 lakh sq m, with the mainstay of product development and R&D being energy-efficiency, coupled with eco-friendly and sustainable products.What Your Role EntailsWe are seeking a Senior Vibracoustic Engineer to lead the Structural analysis, prediction, and control of noise and vibration in HVAC systems. This role requires deep expertise in structural vibration, vibroacoustic modeling, and experimental validation for HVAC equipment’s including Room Air conditioner, chillers, heat pumps, compressors, fans, and Duct Air Conditioner. The Senior Engineer will provide technical leadership, guide design decisions, mentor engineers, and ensure HVAC products meet stringent noise and vibration requirements.What You’ll Do:- Lead Vibroacoustics Analysis and prediction for HVAC systems and components - Develop and validate Advanced vibroacoustic models to support early design decisions - Perform Structural vibration analyses (modal, harmonic, random, transient) for complex assemblies - Predict and mitigate Airborne, Structure-borne noises from HVAC products - Analyzing Fan Mounting, Motor mounting, Compressor structure borne induced noise mechanisms - Lead correlation of simulation results with laboratory and field test data - Define Noise and Vibration targets and support requirement flow-down - Identify the root causes of NVH issues and drive effective, cost-efficient solutions - Design and evaluate Noise control measures (isolators, dampers, liners, silencers, enclosures). - Assess Structure-borne vibration transmission on chillers as complete chassis (Air & Water cooled) - Ensure compliance with HVAC noise and vibration standards (ISO, ASHRAE, AHRI) - Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers - Review and approve analysis methodologies, models, and reports - Support manufacturing, field issues, and customer escalations - Collaborate with mechanical, airflow, thermal, and systems engineering teams - Contribute to development of internal vibroacoustic design guidelines and best practices.Your success is grounded in- Bachelor’s or Master’s degrees in mechanical engineering, Acoustics, or related field - 7+ years of experience in vibroacoustic or NVH engineering - Proven experience leading complex NVH or vibroacoustic projects - Hands-on experience with rotating machinery and Structural NVH optimization - Strong background in Modal testing, operational deflection shape (ODS), Transient analysis - Experience supporting manufacturing, installation, and field troubleshooting - Professional certification or advanced training in acoustics or vibration is an advantage - Expert knowledge of structural dynamics, vibration theory, and acoustics - Advanced experience in vibroacoustic modeling and prediction - Proficiency with FEM/BEM/SEA tools (ANSYS, NASTRAN, ABAQUS, COMSOL, Actran, VA One, LMS) - Deep understanding of HVAC Products Noise & Vibration sources - Strong experience in experimental vibration and acoustic testing and correlations - Knowledge of noise control engineering and vibration isolation techniques - Familiarity with building acoustics and structure-borne noise transmission - Strong technical leadership, mentoring, and review capabilities - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and technical communication skillsInterested candidates can also drop your resume to randdrecruiter@ with the brief on the projects worked.Where you’ll beThis role is based in Kapurbawdi, ThaneAt Blue Star, you are not just another employee; you're part of a vibrant community that values innovation, dedication, and teamwork.
