Job Opening for Civil and Structural Design Engineer at Kalpataru Projects International Ltd.(Oil and Gas division)Job location: Mumbai (Thane)Qualification: Bachelors or Master's Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.Experience: Minimum of 6 years' experience in Oil & Gas industry structural engineering.Interested to know more kindly revert with your resume on nikitha.prabhu@ or you may connect on (+91) 7045460093Key Responsibilities:- To execute structural engineering design and analysis for onshore oil & gas facilities, ensuring safety, integrity, and cost-effectiveness. - Participate in all stages of project development: Concept, Basic, FEED, Detail Design, and Commissioning until final handover. - Conduct and review structural analysis, G.A. drawings, foundation designs, and support calculations using STAAD. Pro and other tools. - Ensure compliance with applicable standards including IBC, AISC, OSHA, and oil & gas-specific design norms. - Interface with other engineering disciplines to ensure integrated design and smooth coordination. - Support procurement through preparation/review of structural specifications and bid evaluations. - Conduct site visits, inspections, and structural integrity assessments. - Guide and mentor junior engineers and designers. - Participate in project planning, scheduling, and client-facing technical discussions. - Proactively suggest design optimizations and cost-effective solutions for facility structures. - Coordinate and review deliverables from consultants and subcontractors. - Ready and available for short-term assignments in the US or Europe as per project needs.Requirements:- Proven ability to execute structural designs with team and deliver results on time. - Strong communication skills for technical discussions with clients, teams, and stakeholders. - Must be proactive, organized, and responsive in a fast-paced project environment. - High level of integrity, responsibility, and teamwork orientation.
