FBL also offers niche APIs, enzymes for antibiotic synthesis, and environmental solutions for water/wastewater treatment Plant EPC business (STP/ETP/WTP) Summary: We are seeking an experienced Proposal Engineer with a strong background in preparing proposals and cost estimations for DM, RO, Mixed Bed, BEE, ATFD, ZLD, and ETP solutions. The ideal candidate will have specific exposure to Power, Steel, and Mining industries, along with the ability to translate client requirements into competitive and technically sound proposals. Roles & Responsibilities: Preparation of technical and commercial proposals for DM, RO, Mixed Bed, BEE, ATFD, ZLD, STP and ETP systems. Cost estimation and bid documentation tailored to industrial water and wastewater treatment projects. Preparation and review of PFDs, P&IDs, HFDs, water mass balance, equipment layouts, and civil GA drawings. Conceptualization of process flow designs based on varying raw water and wastewater characteristics. Participation in technical discussions with clients and consultants, incorporating feedback into proposals. Conducting site surveys to collect technical data for accurate proposal preparation. Selection of equipment and instruments as per process requirements. Coordination with procurement, planning, and execution teams to ensure timely and cost-effective solutions. Supporting project execution and O&M sites when required. Extensive travel with the marketing team for customer interactions and proposal presentations. Building and nurturing long-term client relationships to drive repeat business. Staying updated on market trends, technologies, and competitor offerings in industrial water treatment solutions. Qualification & Skill Requirements: B.E./B.Tech in Chemical, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering. 6+ years of professional experience in proposal making and cost estimation for industrial water and wastewater treatment projects. Proven expertise in preparing proposals for DM, RO, Mixed Bed, BEE, ATFD, ZLD, and ETP solutions for Power, Steel, and Mining industries. Proficiency in AutoCAD drafting, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and project management tools. Strong analytical and communication skills with attention to detail. Team player with strong cross-functional coordination abilities. Willingness to travel extensively across India.
