ClipchampRole OverviewWe are seeking a highly capable and hands-on Technical Lead to drive end-to-end delivery across native mobile applications, web platforms, and backend systems. This role requires strong technical depth, ownership of program execution, and the ability to leverage AI-driven development practices to accelerate delivery and improve quality.The ideal candidate will lead architecture, contribute to hands-on development, and mentor engineering teams while ensuring scalable, high-performance solutions aligned with business objectives. This is a critical role focused on execution excellence, technical leadership, and measurable productivity gains through modern engineering practices.Key Responsibilities:Technical Leadership & OwnershipAct as the primary technical owner and point of contact for end-to-end program delivery.Drive architecture, system design, and technical decision-making across mobile, web, and backend systems.Ensure alignment with business goals, scalability, and long-term maintainability.Hands-on Development & Code QualityContribute to hands-on coding across critical components in mobile, web, and backend layers.Perform code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting for complex issues.Ensure adherence to coding standards, design principles, and engineering best practices.AI-Driven Engineering PracticesDrive adoption of AI-led SDLC practices to improve development speed, quality, and efficiency.Leverage tools such as Claude or similar AI assistants for coding, testing, and optimization.Continuously identify opportunities to enhance productivity through automation and AI integration.Team Leadership & MentorshipLead and mentor a team of 5–10 engineers, ensuring productivity, engagement, and quality delivery.Provide technical guidance, conduct design discussions, and support skill development within the team.Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.Cross-Functional CollaborationCollaborate with product, business, UX, and architecture teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions.Ensure seamless communication and alignment across stakeholders throughout the delivery lifecycle.Delivery Management & ExecutionEnsure timely delivery of high-quality solutions by proactively managing risks, dependencies, and trade-offs.Establish and enforce best practices in CI/CD, testing, deployment, and system reliability.Drive predictable execution and continuous improvement in delivery processes.Required Skills & Competencies:7+ years of experience in full stack development with proven technical leadership experience.Strong hands-on expertise in:Mobile: iOS (Swift) and Android (Kotlin/Java).Web: Angular, React, or similar modern frameworks.Backend: Java or Python (Django, FastAPI, Flask).Solid understanding of APIs, microservices architecture, and system integrations.Experience designing scalable and high-performance distributed systems.Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.Proven experience in AI-assisted development and AI-driven SDLC practices.Strong problem-solving, debugging, and system design capabilities.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):Delivery of scalable, high-quality solutions within defined timelines.Improvement in engineering productivity through AI-driven development practices.Reduction in defects and rework through strong code quality and review processes.Effective team performance, engagement, and technical growth.Predictable and efficient program execution with minimal escalations.Desired Attributes:Highly self-driven with strong ownership and accountability.Ability to operate with minimal guidance and drive outcomes independently.Strong decision-making and problem-solving mindset.Focus on quality, scalability, and delivery excellence.Effective communicator with strong stakeholder management skills.Interview Process2 to 3 Rounds of Discussion
