Allen-Bradley Specialist

We are seeking an experienced OT Engineer / Industrial Automation Specialist with strong expertise in Allen-Bradley PLC systems and industrial OT devices. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing industrial automation systems while ensuring reliable integration between Operational Technology (OT) and IT environments.This role requires hands-on experience with PLC programming, industrial networks, SCADA systems, and OT device integration in manufacturing or industrial environments.Key ResponsibilitiesOT Systems & AutomationDesign, configure, and maintain industrial automation systems using Allen-Bradley PLCs.Troubleshoot and support OT devices, controllers, and automation systems in production environments.Program and maintain PLC logic using RSLogix / Studio 5000.Implement and support HMI/SCADA systems integrated with PLC infrastructure.Industrial Network & IntegrationConfigure and maintain industrial communication protocols such as:EtherNet/IPModbusOPC UADeviceNet / ControlNetIntegrate OT systems with MES, SCADA, and enterprise IT systems.Maintenance & TroubleshootingDiagnose faults in PLC programs, field devices, and automation systems.Support production teams with automation and OT system issues.Perform upgrades, patches, and configuration changes for OT systems.Security & ComplianceImplement OT cybersecurity best practices for industrial environments.Maintain documentation for automation architecture and OT devices.Ensure systems comply with industrial safety and security standards.Required SkillsCore ExpertiseStrong experience with Allen-Bradley / Rockwell Automation PLC systemsHands-on experience with:ControlLogixCompactLogixStudio 5000 / RSLogixExperience with HMI platforms (FactoryTalk View preferred)Industrial TechnologiesPLC programming and troubleshootingIndustrial networking (EtherNet/IP, Modbus)SCADA systemsIndustrial IoT devices and OT hardwareAdditional Technical SkillsExperience integrating OT with IT infrastructureKnowledge of industrial cybersecurityFamiliarity with MES systems is a plusPreferred QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or related field8+ years of experience in industrial automation or OT environmentsExperience in manufacturing, packaging, or industrial production systemsCertifications in Rockwell Automation / Allen-Bradley technologies are a plus
