Job Title: Loan ServicerIndustry: Real EstateEmployment Type: Full-TimeWork Hours: Eastern Standard Time (5.30 p.m. to 2.30 a.m. IST)Position OverviewWe are looking for a detail-oriented and customer-focused Loan Servicer to manage a portfolio of commercial loans. This role involves handling loan servicing operations, ensuring timely payments, maintaining accurate records, and delivering excellent support to borrowers.The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of loan servicing processes, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and service a portfolio of commercial loansProcess loan payments, including posting transactions and reconciling accountsMaintain accurate loan records, including borrower details, payment history, and loan status updatesTrack property & liability insurance expiration dates; send reminders and follow up with borrowersMonitor property tax and utility due dates; process payments from escrow accountsManage and track escrow accounts effectivelyIdentify and monitor delinquencies; proactively follow up with borrowers to resolve payment issuesRespond to borrower inquiries related to loan details, payment history, escrow, and modificationsReview and analyze loan documents (promissory notes, mortgage agreements, deeds of trust) for accuracy and complianceCoordinate with internal teams (origination, underwriting, collections) to resolve servicing issuesSupport audits and compliance reviews, ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory requirementsGenerate loan statements, payoff quotes, and borrower communicationsAssist with process improvements and other loan servicing initiativesQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred)2–5 years of experience in loan servicing, mortgage servicing, or related rolesStrong understanding of loan servicing processes, including payment processing, escrow management, and delinquency handlingExcellent analytical skills and high attention to detailProficiency in loan servicing software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)Strong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentKnowledge of loan servicing regulations and compliance requirementsHigh level of professionalism, integrity, and reliabilityAdditional RequirementsWillingness to work in night shifts (EST time zone)Strong customer service mindset with the ability to build positive relationships
