Position:Accounts Receivable Assistant (Retail Chargeback Analyst) Experience:5–8 Years Qualification:/ CA Inter Location:Ghodbunder Road, Thane Shift Timing: Primary: US Shift – 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM (IST) Alternate (if late shift is a challenge): 11:30 AM to 8:30 PM (IST) – Open to any gender Role Summary: We are seeking a strategic and highly analytical Retail Chargeback Analyst to manage and optimize our chargeback and vendor compliance programs. The role focuses on protecting revenue, recovering funds, and ensuring compliance with major US retail partners such as Costco, Amazon, Walmart, Target, JCPenney, and other Fortune 500 retailers. The incumbent will act as a key liaison between Finance, Sales, Logistics, and Customer Service teams, ensuring adherence to complex retailer agreements and driving process improvements to reduce financial leakage. Key Responsibilities: End-to-End Dispute Management Investigate, validate, and respond to chargebacks, deductions, and compliance penalties in line with retailer vendor guidelines. Retail Compliance Monitoring Handle compliance related to: ASN / EDI requirements Shipping and routing guides (Amazon FBA, Walmart Routing, etc.) Packaging and labeling norms Chargeback reason codes (DEX compliance, late shipments, invoice mismatches, shortages, etc.) Revenue Recovery & Documentation Prepare evidence packs using shipment data, POs, EDI records, delivery proofs to dispute invalid deductions. Trend Analysis & Reporting Analyze recurring deduction patterns and share preventive action plans with Operations, Supply Chain, and Sales. Cross-Functional Coordination Partner with Logistics, Sales, and Customer Service to improve OTIF, ASN accuracy, and PO compliance. Retailer Portal Handling Manage portals such as Retail Link, VendorLink, Seller Central, etc. Audit & Reconciliation Ensure all deductions are reconciled, recovered, or written off as per policy. Process Training & SOPs Support creation of compliance SOPs and internal training to minimize future chargebacks. Systems & Tools: SAP B1 preferred Advanced Excel, Power BI exposure desirable Additional Notes: Open to all genders. For female candidates, 11:30 AM to 8:30 PM shift is acceptable if late evening shift is a constraint.
