Graphic Designer Signage Bids (US Projects)

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Graphic Designer with experience in signage bid preparation for U.S.-based projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing architectural plans, interpreting bid documents, and developing compliant signage proposals that align with client requirements, branding standards, and U.S. code regulations.Key ResponsibilitiesReview and analyze architectural drawings, RFPs, BOQs, and tender documents for signage projectsPrepare professional signage bid packages, including layouts, message schedules, and specification documentsDevelop creative signage and wayfinding concepts based on project requirements and brand standardsEnsure all signage designs comply with U.S. regulations, including ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act), IBC, and applicable local codesCollaborate with estimating, sales, production, and project management teams to support accurate bid submissionsPerform quantity take-offs and assist with preliminary estimation when requiredMaintain organized bid documentation, revisions, and version control throughout the project lifecycleUpdate and revise designs and proposals based on customer feedback and project changesRequired Qualifications & SkillsBachelor’s degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field2–5 years of experience in signage design, bid coordination, or tender preparation (experience with U.S. projects preferred)Strong understanding of signage systems, including ADA signage, wayfinding, interior, and exterior signageFamiliarity with U.S. accessibility and signage compliance standardsProficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CorelDRAWAbility to interpret architectural, construction, and technical drawingsExcellent attention to detail, organization, and time-management skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience working with U.S.-based clients and project timelinesKnowledge of signage fabrication methods, materials, and installation practicesExposure to estimating software or basic cost analysisExperience in environmental graphics and large-scale wayfinding systemsExperience Required2–5 years of relevant industry experience
