This role involves managing the conceptualization, development, and delivery of innovative design solutions. This role also involves project execution onsite by managing resources, timelines, and budgets to ensure client satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the interior design process, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.Job Responsibilities:1. Lead the conceptualization of interior design projects, ensuring creative and innovative solutions2. Develop detailed design plans, including layouts, mood boards, material selection, and colour schemes3. Review and refine designs to align with client requirements and feedback4. Create accurate drawings, 3D models, and detailed specifications using design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, etc.)5. Stay updated on the latest design trends, materials, and technologies6. Project execution along with management of Contractors, Suppliers and Designers7. Site inspections and measurements with the Client/Design team8. Support presales activities such as meetings with potential clients, initial site visits, preparation of BOQs/Quotations9. Client coordination - work as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle10. Material Quality control, Material Inventory management and optimization11. Procurement Management - Cost optimization, Verification of Supplier/Contractors bills/invoices12. Project Scope includes all kinds of works such as Civil, Carpentry , Electrical, POP, Modular, Painting, Finishing works, etc.13. Project Plan preparation, tracking, progress reporting (daily, weekly, monthly) to SKD management and client as per requirement14. Management of Planned V/S Actual tracking and reporting of Project Scope, Cost, resources and Timelines15. Collaboration with other relevant teams (internal/external) and resolve conflicts or challenges efficiently16. Ensure excellent finishing and successful Site handover to the client17. Ensure all design and execution meet SK Design Studio’s standards and client expectations18. Risk Management with mitigations19. Maintain contingency plans to address unforeseen challenges20. After sales service to the client as per the terms21. Vendor and Contractor negotiation22. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers and interns23. Team Work24. Team Management25. Self-developmentQualifications/Skills:1. Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Project Management, or related field2. Overall experience - Minimum 10 years out of which relevant experience of 5+ years in interior design and project management in the interior design industry3. Project Management Certification like Prince2 or PMP preferred4. Proficiency in project management tools and software5. Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar tools)6. Strong knowledge of materials, finishes, furniture, and accessories7. Strong understanding of interior design processes, materials, and construction methods8. Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills9.
