Junior Branding & Packaging DesignerLocation: Thane/Mumbai (Hybrid)Experience: 2–4 yearsAgency: Your Brand Studio (YBS)About UsAt YBS, we build brands that look good, work hard, and scale well. From first-time founders to established FMCG and D2C players, we turn business intent into clear visual systems—identity, packaging, and communication—without the fluff. We’re a small, fast, detail-obsessed team. We debate hierarchy, nudge kerning, name layers, test on shelves, and celebrate ideas that make sense in the market.About the RoleWe’re looking for a Junior Packaging & Branding Designer who thinks in systems, designs with purpose, and can take a product from “rough brief” to “ready for shelf.” If you enjoy crafting identities and translating them into packaging architectures that scale across SKUs, formats, and channels—this is your playground. What You’ll Do- Build brand identities end-to-end—logo, type, color, tone, and usage systems. - Design packaging systems—master routes, SKU architectures, flavor/size adaptations, and shelf-ready files. - Own production readiness—dielines, print specs, Pantone matching, prepress, and vendor coordination. - Create on-pack communication—claims hierarchy, icons, FSSAI/MRP/legals, and storytelling that sells. - Prototype & test—mockups, shelf visuals, renders, and quick iterations based on feedback. - Collaborate with strategy, copy, and account teams; present work with clarity and rationale. - Mentor juniors on craft, consistency, and file hygiene. What We’re Looking For- 2–4 years in branding/packaging at a studio or brand side (FMCG/D2C experience is a big plus). - Strong command of Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign; working knowledge of Figma is helpful. - Comfort with dielines, substrates, finishes (foil, emboss, varnish), and color management. - Portfolio that shows brand systems, packaging architectures, and real production work. - Sharp sense of hierarchy, typography, grid, and legibility—especially at small sizes. - Bonus: 3D/CGI renders (Pacdora, KeyShot/Dimension/Blender), basic motion, or market testing know-how.What It’s Like HereWe care about outcomes, not theatrics. Strategy informs design; design drives business. Expect honest feedback, quick turnarounds, and the satisfaction of seeing your work on shelves and screens. How to ApplySend your portfolio + résumé to amrut@Subject: Packaging & Branding Designer – Your Name(If you’re picky about pixels and Pantones—and can explain why—we want to talk.)
