Senior Interior Designer

Job Title: Senior Interior DesignerLocation: Full-time, on-site at the Pune branchExperience & QualificationsMinimum 5 years of professional experience in interior design (residential and/or commercial) with a proven track record.Degree or Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field (or equivalent experience).Proficiency in design software: AutoCAD, 3D modelling/rendering tools, etc.Excellent communication skills in English + regional/local language (for Pune/Thane region).Demonstrated ability to manage design teams and project deliverables.Key ResponsibilitiesLead design projects from concept through execution: develop design concepts, mood boards, sketches, 3D visuals, floor plans, interior elevations.Space-planning and functional layouts: interpret client briefs, design efficient layouts, ensure usability, good traffic flow, compliance with safety standards.Prepare technical documentation: working drawings, construction/shop drawings, material & finish specifications, interior elevations.Project management: control timelines, budgets, procurement of FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment), coordinate with contractors/vendors, conduct site visits and inspections, ensure quality execution.Client & stakeholder interaction: meet with clients, present design proposals, gather feedback and revisions; liaise with architects, structural/MEP engineers, contractors, suppliers.Team leadership & mentoring: supervise and mentor junior/mid-level designers, review their work, ensure alignment with company design standards.Innovation & quality control: stay updated with latest design trends, materials and sustainability practices; maintain high aesthetic and finish standards.Budget & cost control: estimate project costs, monitor expenditures, keep designs within budget and propose cost-effective alternatives when required.What We’re Looking ForA strong portfolio showcasing high-quality interior design projects (residential and/or commercial).Excellent visualisation and drafting skills (2D & 3D).Sound project management capabilities: able to handle multiple simultaneous projects and meet deadlines.Strong interpersonal skills: confident in client interactions, presentations and managing client expectations.Self-motivated, proactive, capable of taking initiative and driving projects forward.Flexibility and willingness to travel to project sites in Pune & Thane when needed.Remuneration & BenefitsCompetitive salary commensurate with experience.Performance-based bonuses and other allowances (site-visit travel/conveyance may be included).Opportunity to work on a variety of projects (residential & commercial) in an evolving, dynamic studio environment with growth potential.
