We are looking for an experienced US Business Tax Manager to join our team and work directly with firm leadership on complex tax engagements and client advisory.Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly experienced CPA and/or EA with strong US business tax expertise and prior tax return signing experience. The ideal candidate should be comfortable independently handling US clients, reviewing and signing complex business tax returns, mentoring junior staff, and improving internal processes.This is a client-facing leadership role requiring strong technical knowledge, communication skills and the ability to manage projects independently in a fast-paced remote environment.Minimum RequirementsMinimum 7+ years of hands-on experience in US business taxationMinimum 3+ years of experience reviewing and signing US business tax returnsActive CPA and/or EA license requiredStrong experience handling complex business and international tax mattersIn-depth understanding of tax regulations related to S-Corps, C-Corps, Partnerships, and high-net-worth individualsPrior experience managing client relationships independentlyKey responsibilitiesTax Compliance & ReviewReview and sign US business tax returns including:Forms 1120, 1120S, 1065Forms 5471, 5472, 8858, 8865FBAR, Form 8938, 1116, 8621, 1042, 1042-S and related filingsConduct technical tax research and resolve complex tax issuesEnsure filing accuracy, compliance, and timely deliveryTax Planning & AdvisoryProvide proactive tax planning and advisory services to business clientsIdentify tax-saving opportunities and compliance risksAdvise clients on entity structure, distributions, international reporting, and operational tax considerationsClient Communication & CommunicationWork closely with the firm owner (Akhil Bansal, CPA) on client engagementsIndependently handle US client meetings, onboarding, project delivery, and ongoing communicationManage client expectations and provide a high level of serviceAvailability during US morning hours (India evening hours, occasionally up to 12 AM IST) for client callsBookkeeping & Financial OversightReview bookkeeping and financial reports prepared by junior staffAnalyze financial statements and identify inconsistencies or tax-impacting issuesExperience with QuickBooks Online required; experience with Wave is a plusProcess Improvement & Team LeadershipDevelop and improve internal workflows, checklists, and SOPsTrain, mentor, and review work prepared by junior team membersHelp improve operational efficiency and delivery quality across engagementsWhy Join UsFully remote work environmentExposure to complex and high-value tax engagementsDirect mentorship and collaboration with firm leadershipOpportunity to grow into a senior leadership roleFast-growing firm with international client exposureAt USA Tax Gurus, we are committed to fostering a diverse, inclusive, and equitable workplace.
