You willown the financial backbone of the business —from cash flow to profitability, compliance to control systems. You are responsible for ensuring thatevery rupee is tracked, optimized, and contributes to growth , while building strong reporting and financial systems from scratch.What you will ownFinance & Business Control: Track and improveunit economics (per order profitability) Build visibility onmargins, costs, and leakages Work closely with founders onfinancial decision-making MIS, Reporting & Dashboards: Build and maintainMIS reports, P&L, and Balance Sheet Createreal-time dashboards for revenue, cost, margins Buildreporting systems from scratch (Excel / Google Sheets / tools) Useformula-based models, pivot tables, and structured data systems Cash Flow & Working Capital: Managedaily cash flow and burn Plan and optimizeworking capital cycles Ensure smoothvendor payouts and receivables tracking Accounts, Compliance & Systems: HandleGST, TDS, filings, and statutory compliance Managebooks of accounts, reconciliations, audits Work onTally / Zoho Books (or both) Ensure clean, accurate, and timely financial records Reconciliations (Critical Area): Handlemarketplace payment reconciliations(Amazon, Myntra, etc.) Managelogistics and courier reconciliations Identify and plugfinancial leakages in payouts, returns, claims Cost Control & Leakages: Identify and reduceunnecessary expenses Trackreturns, logistics, production costs from finance lens Improve overallcost efficiency across functions Team & Vendor Management: Manage and scale theaccounts team Managefactory, logistics, and service vendor payments Negotiate betterpayment terms and cyclesWhat success looks likeAccurateP&L and financial visibility at all times Improvednet margins Strongcash flow visibility and control Reducedcost leakages Clean, reliablefinancial systems and dashboards Betterworking capital efficiencyWhat we’re looking forExperience inaccounts / finance in ecommerce / D2C / startup environment Strong understanding ofGST, TDS, compliance, and financial systems Strong skills inExcel / Google Sheets / dashboards / data handling Ability to buildreporting systems and MIS from scratch Comfortable withTally / Zoho Books Ability to think beyond accounting intobusiness finance High ownership and attention to detail Comfortable working in afast-paced, unstructured setup❌ This role is NOT for you if:You only want to do bookkeeping or compliance You avoid taking ownership of business outcomes You need structured environments and fixed processes You’ve only worked in large, slow-moving organizationsCompensationFixed: ₹6–10L Variable: ₹2–4L (linked to margin improvement, cost control, cash flow efficiency) ESOP: 0.5% – 1%⚡ How we workNo micromanagement High ownership, high accountability No leave policy, No leaves deduction Direct involvement in business decisions Fast-paced, problem-solving cultureHiring processApplication screening via mail 1-1 Personal Round Paid trial: solve a real finance/cash flow + reconciliation problem Final discussion with founders If you’re someone who wants toown numbers, build systems, and drive profitability end-to-end , this role is for you.
