Field Research Assistant / Project Co-Ordinator

Project Overview The selected candidate will be part of a Jasmine Sambac Cultivation Project , which includes implementation of Fair For Life standards  along with multidisciplinary agricultural research involving: Soil Science & Agricultural Chemistry Agricultural Entomology Horticulture & Integrated Farming Systems Horticultural Weed Management This is a full time, on-site role based in Tenkasi district. Key Responsibilities Conduct field research activities and assist in on-ground project execution Collect, record, and analyze field data accurately Coordinate day-to-day project operations and ensure timely execution Support implementation of sustainability and certification standards (Fair For Life) Work closely with team members, farmers, and stakeholders Monitor field progress and prepare reports as required Travel within project locations for fieldwork and supervision Qualifications & Eligibility Undergraduate / Postgraduate / PhD candidates in relevant disciplines Educational background in Agriculture, Horticulture, Botany, Environmental Science, or related fields preferred Prior experience in field research or agricultural projects is an advantage Skills & Competencies Strong fieldwork and research capabilities Proficiency in data collection and analytical skills Effective communication and coordination abilities Good organizational and project management skills Ability to work independently and in diverse field conditions Demonstrated exposure to agricultural, botanical, or aromatic plant research will be viewed favorably. Candidates with an academic or professional background in Agriculture, Biological Sciences, Environmental Sciences, or allied fields will be preferred. Language Requirement Proficiency in both Tamil and English  (spoken and written) is mandatory Additional Requirements Willingness to travel for field activities Ability to work with minimal supervision Interest in sustainable agriculture and natural product research Application Interested candidates may apply by sharing their resume and relevant details.
