Frontend Developer

We are looking for a Creative Developer who specializes in building HTML5, rich media, and interactive ad creatives for programmatic advertising platforms. In this role, you will work at the intersection of design, code, and ad-tech, building high-performance creatives that run seamlessly across exchanges, and devices. Well-built creatives lead to better viewability, higher CTRs, and smoother delivery across the programmatic ecosystem.Responsibilities:Build and maintain HTML5 rich media creatives for programmatic ad campaignsEnsure creatives comply with DSP, exchange, and publisher guidelinesImplement click-through logic, tracking pixels, macros, and custom eventsOptimize creatives for file size, load time, and runtime performanceWork closely with designers to ensure creatives are visually accurate and interactiveCollaborate with Product, Ad Ops, and Platform teams to support campaign workflowsDevelop reusable creative templates and libraries to scale creative productionCreate proof of concepts (POCs) for new creative formats and ad experiencesDebug issues related to cross-domain rendering, iframe behavior, and browser inconsistenciesSupport and enhance internal DSP UI components when needed (Angular – basic)Requirements:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field2+ years of hands-on experience in HTML5 ad or rich media creative developmentStrong expertise in HTML5, CSS3, Vanilla JavaScript, and jQueryExperience building interactive and animated HTML5 ads (banners, interstitials, video companions, expandable creatives, etc.)Strong understanding of ad size, weight, and performance constraints for programmatic deliveryExperience handling click tracking, impression tracking, and event trackingKnowledge of cross-domain communication, iframe-based creatives, and safe scriptingStrong understanding of HTTP fundamentals (request/response lifecycle, headers, CORS, caching)Hands-on experience with responsive and multi-device creativesStrong skills in cross-browser debugging (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, IE9+, etc) using developer toolsFamiliarity with Git or other version control systemsAbility to translate creative designs and storyboards into functional ad creativesBasic experience with Angular, with the ability to work on internal DSP or platform UI modules when requiredGood to HaveExperience with programmatic platforms, DSPs, or ad serversKnowledge of VAST, VPAID, MRAID, or other ad standardsExperience working with creative QA tools and ad validation platformsFamiliarity with CSS preprocessors (Sass, Less)Understanding of ad viewability, brand safety, and performance metricsExperience optimizing creatives for low latency and high scaleAbout RevX:Made for Growth, Built for App Marketers.RevX helps app businesses acquire and reengage users via programmatic to retain, monetize, and accelerate revenue.
