We are strengthening our HR Operations function and are looking for detail-oriented professionals who can ensure accurate, compliant, and efficient payroll management across the organization.Role Overview We are seeking aSenior Executive – Payrollresponsible for managing end-to-end payroll operations while ensuring statutory compliance, data accuracy, and timely salary processing. This role requires strong coordination with HR, Finance, and external stakeholders to maintain seamless payroll execution and compliance with applicable labor and taxation regulations.Key Responsibilities ● Process monthly payroll accurately within defined timelines ● Verify attendance, leave records, incentives, reimbursements, and deductions before payroll closure ● Ensure compliance with statutory regulations includingPF, ESI, PT, TDS, LWF, gratuity , and other applicable laws ● Handlefull & final settlements , bonus, arrears, and gratuity calculations ● Prepare payroll reports, salary registers, reconciliation reports, and MIS dashboards ● Coordinate with HR for employee lifecycle changes such as new joiners, exits, promotions, and salary revisions ● Address employee payroll-related queries including payslips, tax deductions, and salary structure clarification ● Coordinate salary disbursement with banks and finance teams ● Support payroll audits and provide required documentation to auditors ● Ensure timely filing of statutory returns and challan payments ● Maintain payroll master data, records, and documentation accuracy ● Contribute to payroll automation, system improvements, and process optimizationCore Qualifications & Must-Have Expertise ● 2–5 years of experience in Payroll Operations ● Strong knowledge of payroll processing and statutory compliance ● Hands-on experience in payroll software (SAP, ADP, Oracle, Paychex, or similar systems) ● Advanced working knowledge of MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, formulas) ● Strong accuracy, analytical thinking, and attention to detail ● Ability to handle confidential employee data with integrityAdditional Strengths ● Experience managing multi-location payroll ● Exposure to payroll audits and statutory inspections ● Good understanding of current labor laws and taxation updates ● Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills ● Ability to work efficiently under deadlinesEducational Qualifications ● Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or Human Resources ● Certification/Diploma in Payroll Management will be an added advantageExperience ● 2–5 years of relevant payroll processing experience ● Experience handling payroll for medium to large organizations preferred
