Position – FOS Purchase/subcontractingEducation – Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Experience - 5 to 8 YearsLocation – Surat, HaziraThe candidate will be responsible for end-to-end procurement of FOS (Non-Project) items, ensuring timely sourcing, cost-effectiveness, and adherence to company standards. The role requires strong vendor management, effective negotiation skills, and clear communication to coordinate smoothly with vendors and internal customers. The candidate must be able to procure materials in full compliance with L&T standards while maintaining accurate documentation, including certificates, registrations, and safety records. The position involves continuous coordination with vendors and internal departments to ensure the timely availability of materials at competitive prices while meeting required quality and safety standards. The candidate should be proactive, capable of handling work independently as well as through company-driven processes, and demonstrate initiative in resolving procurement-related challenges.
