Specialist Accountant

Job descriptionWe are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant with at least 5 years of professional experience in handling end-to-end accounting functions. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of accounting principles, taxation, statutory compliance, financial reporting, and reconciliation processes.Key Responsibilities:Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entriesPrepare and maintain accurate financial records and reportsPerform monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activitiesConduct bank reconciliations and vendor/customer reconciliationsHandle TDS, GST, and other statutory compliance including timely filing of returnsAssist in preparing financial statements as per applicable accounting standardsManage invoices, payments, petty cash, and employee reimbursementsCoordinate with auditors during internal and statutory auditsMaintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and proceduresAssist in budgeting and forecasting processesEnsure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and government regulationsRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (CA Inter / preferred but not mandatory)Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in accounting and financeProficient in Tally ERP / SAP / QuickBooks or other accounting softwareStrong knowledge of GST, TDS, and other statutory requirementsHands-on experience in preparing MIS reports and financial statementsExcellent Excel and MS Office skillsGood communication and interpersonal skillsHigh attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to work independently and meet deadlines
