Chief Engineer Location:Sarovar Portico, Sriperumbudur – ChennaiJob Summary: Responsible for overseeing all engineering and maintenance operations of the hotel, ensuring optimal functioning of utilities, safety systems, and equipment. The role demands hands-on leadership, preventive maintenance planning, and compliance with brand standards and statutory regulations.Key Responsibilities: Manage daily maintenance operations across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and civil systems of the hotel. Lead and train the team of Multi-skilled technicians and ensure timely resolution of engineering issues. Implement preventive maintenance schedules and energy-saving initiatives. Ensure compliance with safety, fire, and environmental standards. Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized services. Innovate and ensure new notions of sustainable initiatives for the hotel operationsRequirements: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Civil). Minimum 10 years of experience in hotel engineering, with 3+ years in a leadership role. Strong knowledge of hospitality maintenance standards and statutory compliance.
