Chief Engineer Location: Sarovar Portico, Sriperumbudur – Chennai Job Summary: Responsible for overseeing all engineering and maintenance operations of the hotel, ensuring optimal functioning of utilities, safety systems, and equipment. The role demands hands-on leadership, preventive maintenance planning, and compliance with brand standards and statutory regulations. Key Responsibilities: Manage daily maintenance operations across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and civil systems of the hotel. Lead and train the team of Multi-skilled technicians and ensure timely resolution of engineering issues. Implement preventive maintenance schedules and energy-saving initiatives. Ensure compliance with safety, fire, and environmental standards. Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized services. Innovate and ensure new notions of sustainable initiatives for the hotel operations Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Civil). Minimum 10 years of experience in hotel engineering, with 3+ years in a leadership role. Strong knowledge of hospitality maintenance standards and statutory compliance.
