Designation: Project Execution HeadDepartment: Projects/ InstallationReporting To: Managing Director /DirectorLocation: Oragadam ChennaiRole PurposeYou shall be responsible for the overall planning, execution, monitoring, and successful installation of lightning protection system (LPS) in all projects (construction sites Pan India ). The role includes managing manpower, ensuring quality execution, handling billing and commercial aspects, and ensuring compliance with statutory and safety requirements.Key Duties & ResponsibilitiesA. Project Execution & Planning- Lead end-to-end execution of lightning protection projects from initiation to completion - Prepare project schedules, execution plans, and resource allocation - Ensure timely completion within approved budget and quality standardsB. Site & Installation Management- Supervise installation of lightning arresters, earthing systems, and surge protection systems - Ensure compliance with applicable electrical and safety standards - Conduct site reviews and resolve execution challengesC. Manpower & Contractor Management- Deploy and manage site engineers, supervisors, and technicians - Monitor productivity and optimize manpower utilization - Manage subcontractors and ensure timely work completionD. Billing & Commercial Responsibilities- Ensure preparation and submission of RA bills and client invoices - Monitor project cost, profitability, and cash flow - Manage variations, change orders, and coordination for collectionsE. Compliance & Safety- Ensure adherence to statutory regulations and EHS standards - Promote a safe working environment and enforce safety practices - Ensure all site activities comply with company and client safety normsF. Quality Assurance & Documentation- Ensure quality of installation as per design and technical specifications - Oversee testing, commissioning, and certification processes - Maintain all project documentation including reports and drawingsG. Client & Stakeholder Coordination- Act as the primary point of contact for clients and consultants - Conduct review meetings and provide progress updates - Resolve site-level issues and maintain client satisfactionH. Monitoring & Reporting- Track project progress and highlight risks or delays - Submit MIS reports to management on project statusI. Material & Procurement Coordination- Plan material requirements and coordinate procurement - Ensure timely availability of materials at project sitesJ. Project Closure- Ensure completion, testing, and client handover - Submit all required documentation including as-built drawings and certificatesAuthority & AccountabilityHe will have the authority to manage site operations, deploy resources, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for effective project execution. He will be accountable for project timelines, quality, safety, and financial performance.General TermsRequired to travel extensively to project sites as per business needsComply with all company policies, procedures, and code of conductQualifications & Experience- B.E / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering - 12–20 years of experience - Proven experience in handling Electrical / Earthing / Lightning Protection / EPC projects - Proven experience in handling multiple construction sites simultaneously
