Role: Senior Look Dev ArtistSummary We are seeking a highly skilledSenior Lookdev Artistto join our creative team. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping the visual identity of large-scale, photoreal, and cinematic projects. You’ll be responsible forlook development, shading, set building and rendering workflowsthat push the boundaries of realism and artistry. Success in this position means delivering top-quality visuals that seamlessly blend technical precision with strong creative direction, while collaborating closely with teams to achieve world-class output.A strong education background from reputed arts & design university.ResponsibilitiesDevelop, refine, and maintainmaterials, shaders, textures & Large Scale Environmentsto achieve photorealistic and cinematic results. Define and implementlook development standards across large-scale environments (20–50 km),ensuring optimised and efficient asset workflows. Collaborate with fx, animation and other teams to maintain consistency and quality across productions. Troubleshoot and optimise scenes for performance in both offline and real-time rendering pipelines. Ensure thehighest level of detail and artistic quality,maintaining alignment with the project’s creative vision. Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance lookdev pipelines.QualificationsExperience :6–7 years of professional experience in look development, shading, set building and rendering. Software Proficiency : Expertise inV-Ray, Octane, Cinema 4d and Unreal Engine 5+(with strong understanding of path tracing and optimisation). Artistic Foundation :Strong eye for set composition, color theory, and aestheticswith proven ability to achieve photoreal output. Technical Skills : Proficient in DCC tools such asUnreal Engine, Cinema 4D, Maya, and Substance. Collaboration : Ability to work closely with cross-disciplinary teams in a fast-paced production environment.
