We don't just provide therapy; we build clinical ecosystems.The RoleAs the Consultant Psychiatrist, you will be the senior-most clinical authority on campus at OP Jindal Global University. You will oversee all medical aspects of student care—from crisis intervention to stepped-care treatment planning—within a first-of-its-kind preventive mental health system.Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Authority: Lead assessment, diagnosis, and management for acute and high-risk cases (suicidality, psychosis, mood disorders).Crisis Leadership: Act as the on-call clinical lead for psychiatric emergencies, coordinating with campus security and emergency services.Medication Management: Oversee psychotropic protocols, monitoring effectiveness, side effects, and strict adherence to MHCA 2017 guidelines.MDT Supervision: Mentor a multidisciplinary team of psychologists, counselors, and nurses, ensuring clinical excellence across the board.Digital Integration: Use Sukoon’s tech-enabled care pathways and dashboards to identify trends and drive data-driven clinical decisions.Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary medical contact for university leadership and student welfare teams.Key CompetenciesCrisis Leadership: Calm, decisive, and clear-headed under high pressure.Operational Rigor: A protocol-driven approach with a focus on data and documentation.Digital Fluency: Comfortable adopting and promoting tech-enabled care workflows.Eligibility & BenefitsEducation: MD/DNB in Psychiatry (mandatory).Registration: Valid medical registration (NMC/MCI).Experience: 1–2 years of clinical experience, specifically handling complex psychiatric cases.Accommodation: Since this is an on-site, residential role, accommodation will be provided.
