We’re expanding our aftermarket gasket portfolio and are looking for a hands-on drawing engineer who understands real gaskets, and real manufacturing, not just screen work.This role is for engineers who can convert physical samples into accurate, production-ready drawings that actually work on the shop floor.What You’ll Do- Create 2D gasket drawings using AutoCAD - Reverse-engineer from physical samples & OE references - Define profiles, hole patterns, PCDs, thicknesses & materials - Work closely with tooling, production & QC teams - Support trials and first-article approvalsWhat We’re Looking For- Strong AutoCAD skills (mandatory) - Practical experience with automotive / industrial gaskets - Understanding of die cutting, pressing & sheet-based manufacturing - Comfortable working directly with shop floor & tooling vendors - SolidWorks knowledge is a plusWhy This Role- Real technical authority, not paperwork - Direct impact on how gaskets are designed and released - Plant-based, execution-driven environment - Clear growth path to Chief Gasket Engineer / Technical Head – Gasket
