Company:Global Technology organizationKey Skills: Fast Api, Flask, Distributed Systems, Database management, Python, Backend Development, Cloud, AWS Cloud, Cloud (AWS / Azure / GCP), Azure CloudRoles and Responsibilities: Collaborate with Product to prioritize customer-focused work and deliver reliable features in a fast-moving environment.Design and own backend services and APIs that power Harvey's web applications, workflows, and integrations.Model and manage data in Postgres and related data stores to support low-latency, reliable user experiences.Build secure, multi-tenant, permissions-aware systems with appropriate auditing for enterprise and government customers.Implement backend features and workflows that use LLMs and agentic tools, orchestrating calls to AI systems from robust, well-structured services.Collaborate with frontend, product, and design partners to define clear API contracts and ship features end-to-end.Add meaningful logging, metrics, and tracing so services are observable, debuggable, and ready for on-call ownership.Improve performance and scalability by profiling bottlenecks, tuning queries, and refining service boundaries as usage grows.Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions, and take part in an on-call rotation for the services you own.Skills Required:Strong experience in backend development using PythonHands-on experience with FastAPI and/or Flask frameworksSolid understanding of distributed systems architecture and design principlesExperience building scalable, high-performance SaaS or enterprise backend systemsStrong knowledge of database design and management (PostgreSQL or similar relational databases)Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and backend servicesFamiliarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCPExperience in multi-tenant architecture and enterprise-grade system designStrong understanding of system scalability, reliability, and performance optimizationExperience with logging, monitoring, observability, and debugging production systemsAbility to work on API design and collaborate with product and frontend teamsExperience working in agile, fast-paced product engineering environmentsExposure to AI/LLM-based integrations is a plusStrong problem-solving, ownership, and on-call production support mindsetEducation:Bachelor's Degree in related fieldSaaS / Enterprise Software (Product Engineering)
